Stone Mountain Park
Stone Mountain Park
is the world's largest mass of exposed granite surrounded by a 3,200-acre park.
Confederate heroes General Robert E. Lee, General "Stonewall" Jackson
and Confederate president Jefferson Davis are immortalized on a memorial carving
on the north face of the mountain. The "Discovering Stone Mountain Museum"
and Antebellum Plantation are among attractions and a nighttime laser show on the
face of the mountain is shown during summer. While you are at Stone Mountain
Park be sure to stop by Crossroads where you'll meet fascinating characters
and colorful crafters who will show you what life was really like 130 years ago.
In Crossroads, the townspeople still work the old trades, dress in the fabrics and
styles of the time, and invite you to join them in this celebration of the past.
The centerpiece of Crossroads is the magnificent Tall Tales of the South 4D Theater.
In this amazing multi-sensory adventure, you'll not only experience the magic of 3D
film, but the rest of your senses will be engaged by spectacular 4D special effects!
The collections of the Michael C. Carlos Museum of Emory University span
the globe and the centuries. Housed in a distinguished building by renowned
architect
Michael Graves, the Carlos maintains the largest collection of ancient
art in the Southeast with objects from ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Near
East, and the ancient Americas. The Museum is also home to collections of
19th and 20th-century sub-Saharan African art and European and American
works on paper from the Renaissance to the present.

Fernbank Museum of Natural History
Come and discover something new at the
Fernbank Museum of Natural History. Here you will find the largest
dinosaur the Argentinosaurus. This gargantuan sauropod is now a permanent
feature in the Museum's 86-foot tall atrium along with the world's largest
carnivorous dinosaur, Giganotosaurus, a flock of pterosaurs and a variety of
other contemporaneous species in the Museum's newest permanent exhibition,
Giants of the Mesozoic. You can also travel to the most
fascinating and intriguing places in the world and beyond at the IMAX Theater,
the industry’s largest film format produces breathtaking imagery splashed
across a screen measuring five stories high and 72 feet wide. Fernbank Museum
of Natural History is open from Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.,

Located in a three-story pavilion adjacent to Underground Atlanta,
World of Coca-Cola encompasses the rich history and progress of the
refreshing beverage that was created here in Atlanta over 110 years ago.
While Coca-Cola was first served at a small pharmacy soda fountain near
Underground Atlanta, this soft drink can now be purchased in over 200
countries across the globe. In fact, it is now served nearly 1 billion
times a day. You might say that when the world wants refreshment, the
world turns to Coca-Coca.
World of Coca-Cola captures all the excitement of this world famous
product, not only through its exhibits, but through its unique architectural
style. Visitors pass under an enormous three dimensional Coca-Cola globe
suspended 18 feet over the entrance, then step into a spectacular three
story, sky lit atrium. From there visitors move at their own pace through
an easy to follow series of fun and fascinating exhibit galleries.
At the late 1930s Barnes Soda Fountain, an old-fashioned soda jerk
will demonstrate how an early Coca-Cola was prepared. Move ahead into
the International Video Lounge and the "Tastes of the World,"
an international sampler of soft drinks distributed by The Coca-Cola
Company but not available in the U.S.

Zoo Atlanta
Zoo Atlanta
is located in historic Grant Park, just minutes from downtown Atlanta
and is one of the 10 oldest zoos in continuous operation in the United

representing 250 species of animals from all over the world, living
in natural environments. Favorites are Starlet, the painting elephant

Yellow River Wildlife Game Ranch
Travel outside of Atlanta to visit the
Yellow
River Wildlife Game Ranch. More than 600 native Georgia animals,
some of them rarely seen, roam the 24 wooded acres on this wildlife
