Golf is a key contributor to a successful business or leisure event in any city. The Emory Conference Center Hotel has sought out two courses of note to share with our guests.

There are two phenomenal courses less than 25 minutes from our property. We have partnered with both to bring you golfing par excellence!

Our first recommended course is Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club.

Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club features an 18 hole championship golf course designed by Gary Roger Baird. The course sits on rolling terrain and contains many elevation changes and dramatic views of Stone Mountain.

The par 72 course has a rating of 74 and 6799 yards from the black tees; see the scorecard for full yardages and handicap information from all tees.

Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club is located approximately 5 miles east of Emory Conference Center Hotel, off Highway 78 in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

From I-285, take Highway 78 (Stone Mountain Freeway) east to Mountain Industrial Boulevard. Turn left, go 1 mile and turn right at Hugh Howell Road. Turn right, go 3/4 mile and turn right on McCurdy Road. Go to the stop sign, and turn right on Chedworth Drive. Smoke Rise Golf & Country Club is at the end of Chedworth Drive.

The second course is Heritage Golf Club. This course offers you a rare blend of time-honored practices from the past! A Mike Young designed course, 6,950 yards, Par 72. 20 plus acre lake surrounded by gently rolling hills and woodlands. For reservations the clubhouse can be reached at 770.493.4653.

From Atlanta:
From I-285, take I-85 North to Exit 96 (Pleasantdale Road). At the top of the exit, turn right. Follow Pleasantdale Road approximately 2 miles to Britt Road. Turn left onto Britt Road. The entrance to Heritage Golf Club is half a mile on your right.
